Fully independently-licensed providers are paid for sessions based on the rate for the state where their client(s) resides. Base rate will vary state to state meaning different rates will apply accordingly.
Additionally, Talkspace plan types can be broadly divided into a few different categories: Employee Assistance Program (EAP) plans, Behavior Health (BH) plans, Direct-to-Employer (DTE) plans, and Self-Pay (D2C) plans. Providers on the platform can expect to work with clients across all plan types. Reimbursement for your work may differ depending on the plan that your client is on.

*Some BH plans may have unique billing codes specific to that plan type or payor. The appropriate codes for submitting sessions will be present in the CPT code drop down section of the Progress Note.
| Sessions for clients on BH plans are reimbursed based on the CPT Code submitted for the session. The CPT Code submitted for the session should be based on the approximate length of the session as shown in the product.
